Installation
ABP Southampton upgraded its Ocean Terminal in order to accommodate P&O’s newest cruise ship Iona. ADELTE was contracted by ABP Southampton to design, manufacture and deliver two HYDRA Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges for this Cruise Terminal. The SPBBs are similar to the unit ADELTE delivered earlier for the QEII Cruise Terminal with the exception that these units have a drive system supported by bogies and wheels. This was ADELTE’s fifth large project for ABP Southampton.
