Installation

Seattle Port contracted ADELTE to design, manufacture and deliver two KRONUS Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs), together with enclosed elevated walkways connecting directly to the terminal building, now fully operational at the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal on Pier 91 in Seattle.
The project enhances the passenger experience by providing safe, comfortable, and weather-protected embarkation and disembarkation for the hundreds of thousands of cruise passengers who begin and end their Alaska cruise journeys in Seattle each year. The port also achieved shore power capability at all its cruise berths, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable cruise operations and environmental stewardship.
This project marks ADELTE’s second cruise terminal boarding bridge installation in Seattle. We successfully supplied and installed a KRONUS SPBB together with enclosed elevated walkways at the Bell Street Cruise Terminal on Pier 66.
