Polish construction company BUDIMEX contracted ADELTE to deliver a HYDRA Passenger Boarding Bridge on the new ferry berth at Port of Swinoujscie. The new SPBB serve ferries which sail to the port of Ystad in Sweden of up to 220 m in length and ensure total comfort and safety for passengers. This is ADELTE’s first project for a SPBB in Poland.
This unconventional Passenger Boarding Bridge adapt to the unique characteristics of the port of Swinoujscie, enabling passengers to transit safely and comfortably from an exceptionally high elevated walkway to the ferry ships’ doors. With tunnels 3.6 m wide, the HYDRA SPBB improve the terminal’s logistics, providing enough capacity to absorb large passenger flows while ensuring uninterrupted quayside traffic.
