MPCT contracted Genoa-based Studio Vicini to upgrade the cruise terminal on the Leon Gourret Pier, which also included the construction of fixed elevated walkways leading from the cruise terminal building to the pier.
Single structure passenger boarding bridge with glass mounted tunnels and an electromechanical elevation system. The docking ramps are hydraulic, the cabins are fixed. The bridge is PLC controlled and especially designed to serve a wide variety of ships. The bridge uses an electromechanical elevation system and is equipped with bogies to slide along in the rails on the quay.
