Installation

We delivered ten passenger boarding bridges for the Manchester Airport, Great Britain, in fulfilment of three agreements reached with MAPLC in December 1997, January 1998 and March 1998 respectively.

The solution provided to the Manchester Airport consisted of ten telescoping passenger boarding bridges of the Apron Drive 2C (two increasing sections) and 3C (three increasing sections) type, fixed bridges and two stationary telescoping boarding bridges (Nose-Leader). Six passenger boarding bridges are equipped with 400 Hz installation. The drive and lifting mechanisms are electromechanically operated.
