Installation

Kiel, one of top cruise ports in Germany, constructed its Cruise Terminal ‘Ostseekai’ to provide preferential berthing to Costa Cruises and MSC Cruises. ADELTE delivered on-time two Passenger Boarding Bridges to connect with the elevated walkways leading to the terminal building.
Two double glazed passenger boarding bridges of the 3-tunnel ApronDrive increasing section type. each bridge has the possibility to extend from 25 to 49 metres. The smaller tunnel is adjacent to the pier building / fixed bridge and the shorter tunnel is adjacent to the cruise vessel entrance door. The bridges are rectangular in shape with steel guides for tunnel guidance. The bridges are completed by the movable rotunda, the support column, the elevation frame with radial wheels, cabin and the connecting telescopic docking ramp.
