Installation
ADELTE installed three PEGASUS boarding bridges at the Columbus Cruise Center in Bremerhaven, Germany, marking the largest installation of its kind. Bremenports GmbH & Co. KG commissioned ADELTE for the bridges as part of the extensive Columbus Quay construction project initiated in 2021. The quay, crucial for cruise shipping in Bremerhaven, underwent a comprehensive 620-meter reconstruction and a 20-meter extension into the Weser. With these state-of-the-art bridges, the cruise terminal is equipped to effortlessly accommodate large cruise ships, including those with overhanging lifeboats.
