Installation

Architects Luigi Vicini and Andrea Piazza from “Studio Vicini” in Genoa designed the facility and the Spanish engineering firm Sener was responsible for the construction. ADELTE was contracted by Costa Cruises to deliver two passenger boarding bridges similar to the unit designed for Creuers.
Single structure passenger boarding bridge with glazed tunnels and an electromechanical elevation system. The docking ramps are hydraulic and the cabins are fixed. The bridge is PLC controlled and is specially designed to serve a wide variety of cruise ships. The bridge uses an electromechanical elevation system with bogies that slide along rails on the quay, while on the terminal side, sets of solid rubber wheels follow the track.
