Lahore International Airport in Pakistan has also incorporated passenger boarding bridges manufactured by ADELTE, following the agreement reached by the Spanish company with AIRSYS – ATM in May of 2000. The delivery and installation of the seven passenger boarding bridges which were the object of the contract was carried out during 2001. The solution provided consisted of the delivery of seven aircraft access passenger boarding bridges, Apron Drive metal – sided type, two – section increasing metal units, in two different models: five units of the model PTT-185/325-2C, and two units of the model PTT-180/305-2C.
With a minimum docking height of 1.9 metres, the exterior of the passenger boarding bridges is in a smooth rectangular finish and stainless steel guide tracks. Their fully equipped interior consists of an Altro floor in the cabin, carpet floor covering in the access tunnels, high – pressure finishings and fluorescent lighting, ventilation equipment and stainless steel guide tracks in the lower corners. These boarding units are anchored by means of reinforced concrete and their lifting and traction mechanisms have an electric activation system. In addition, the passenger boarding bridges have been fitted with 400 Hz installation facilities, lower support for 400 Hz services and a Continuous Power Supply System.
