ADELTE to deliver Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges at cruise terminals in Incheon, Keelung and Taipei and establishes market leadership in Asia

Barcelona, 27th October – ADELTE is enforcing its presence in ASIA. After completing three successful projects in Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea, ADELTE got awarded with two new contracts to supply Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs) in Incheon and in Taiwan.  It is the first project in Taiwan but already the second for South Korea, where ADELTE installed in 2014 four SPBBs KRONUS at Busan new ferry Terminal.

Incheon port is located on the route from China to Japan and has a very important position as a gateway to Seoul.  Incheon Port Authority aims to reach three million passengers by 2020 and to become a cruise hub in Northeast Asia.

ADELTE will deliver four Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges for Cruise Terminals 5 and 10 in Port Canaveral

Barcelona, 3rd February – ADELTE, the leading provider of Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs) and Global Services to cruise and ferry terminals, has been awarded two contracts by the Canaveral Port Authority to design, manufacture and install four custom-made HYDRA models Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges at Cruise Terminals 5 and 10.

Port Canaveral was named the “Best North American Homeport” in 2015 by Cruise Critic and is the world’s second-largest cruise port by number of passengers, receiving 3.9 million passengers in 2015, behind Miami’s 4.8 million passengers. It is expected to grow by 50 percent in the next four years, reaching up to 6 million cruise guests annually.

ADELTE´s new Passenger Boarding Bridges operating at Cruise Center Steinwerder in Hamburg

Barcelona, 16th of July – ADELTE, the leading provider of Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs) and global services to cruise and ferry terminals, completed the installation of two innovative SPBBs in May at Cruise Center Steinwerder, well before the official inauguration of the new cruise facility on June 9th. After just 198 days of construction, Hamburg’s third cruise terminal is now fully operative.

The new terminal is comprised of two separate arrival and departure buildings, both connected to ADELTE’s state-of-the-art HYDRA-model SPBBs which guarantee fast and flexible boarding operations. Designed to accommodate large modern cruise ships, the two custom-designed boarding bridges are equipped with an innovative and patented feature developed by ADELTE’s R&D engineering department especially for the Steinwerder Terminal.
