Installation

The Aeroporti di Roma, awarded ADELTE a contract for twenty two passenger boarding bridges in 1998 for the Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Rome). These passenger boarding bridges, which were delivered in 1999 are made up of various models, six of type PBB-170/270-2CS, two of type PBB-185/295-2CS, three of type PBB-215/350-2CS, five of type PBB-130/190-2CS, two of type PBB-145/220-2CS, three of type PBB-170/270-2CS and finally one of model type PBB-120/170-2CS.
All these passenger boarding bridges have a smooth exterior finish, rounded edges and stainless steel guide tracks, and are complemented in their interior by carpeted floor covering, an HPL type laminate panelling finish, fluorescent lighting and stainless steel guide tracks in the lower corners. Also, eleven units of the laser type semi-automatic docking optical guidance system have been installed (VDGS). The passenger boarding bridges are equipped with a drinking water supply system, preparation, rewind, cable and lower support for 400 Hz services.
