Port Type:

In November 2003 Savona launched its new cruise terminal in order to meet the requirements of the cruise market. It was named "Palacrociere Savona" and it took the place of the old facility built in 1996. The project was co-financed by the Savona Port authority and Costa Crociere S.p.a, which independently administrates the terminal. The Savona Port authority assigned ADELTE, as the best qualified company, to design and construct two passenger boarding bridges, to be installed perpendicular to the terminal and capable of facilitating Costa Crociere's cruise vessels.

Two movable passenger boarding bridges with glazed tunnels and an electromechanical elevation system to allow vertical adjustments of the cabins and tunnel. One of the bridges has only one cabin, the other has two cabins. Each bridge is equipped with bogies which makes the construction movable along the quay. the bridges are PlC controlled and especially designed for the Cruise vessels of Costa Crociere.
