Málaga inaugurated its new and modern cruise terminal on 23rd December 2007. The new cruise facility is designed and constructed to receive mega cruise ships and can handle up to five cruise ships and between 5,000 and 6,000 passengers per day. ADELTE delivered the PEGASUS boarding bridge in June 2008 in order to facilitate passenger access from the fixed elevated walkway to the cruise ships door and vice versa.

A mobile passenger boarding bridge. The PBB uses an electromechanical elevation system and its wheels slide along the rails in the quay. The PBB has one large tunnel section with climalit glass, equipped with a telescopic gangway element to provide the link with the docking door of the cruise vessel and a ramp to link with the fixed elevated walkway leading to the terminal building.
