Installation

In April 1995 ADELTE began work on a project for the Lille Airport in France upon signing an agreement for the supply of two passenger boarding bridges. Installation was completed in February 1996 and commissioning took place in April of the same year.

The solution provided to the Lille Airport consisted of two passenger boarding bridges for aircraft access of the Apron Drive 2D-type (two decreasing bodies). The larger section was installed at the building end and the smaller used for aircraft docking. One particular feature of this project was the passenger boarding bridge design featuring a minimum docking height of 1.3 m. The passenger boarding bridges have a smooth exterior finish, round corners and stainless steel guides. Interior cladding consists of high-pressure ARPA panel and grooved rubber flooring. The boarding bridges are also equipped with a ventilation unit to permit air flow from the main building and are secured by means of a concrete foundation.
