Installation
Carnival Corporation built one of the largest Cruise Terminals in Europe on the Adossat Quay in the port of Barcelona. This new Cruise Terminal E, also called “HELIX” was designed by architects Batlle i Roig. Carnival Corporation contracted ADELTE to design, manufacture and install in a short time-frame two HYDRA Passenger Boarding Bridges.
The peculiarity of ADELTE’s unique design in this project is the record standoff distance of 9m applied in order to anticipate mega cruise vessels design evolution. This next-generation cruise facility provide cruise ships and passengers the highest levels of quality and service.
