THE PROJECT

In July 2000, AENA contracted the supply of two glass sided passenger boarding bridges for Prat Airport (Barcelona). We carried out the delivery of the passenger boarding bridges the same year, supplying passenger boarding bridges in two decreasing body sections, types PTT-246/365-2DA and PTT-280/435-2DA for the future module 5 of the Barcelona Prat Airport expansion which includes the installation of six additional passenger boarding bridges for December 2002.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

These have a finish in rounded edges, stainless steel guide tracks and glass sides with NFPA-415 Climalit type glass (3+3/12/10) in their exterior. Some of the basic characteristics of their interior are the Altro floor covering, Alucobond finishing in the ceiling, direct current halogen lamp dichroic lighting, air conditioning equipment and stainless steel guide tracks in the lower corners. With a minimum docking height of 1.9 meters, the passenger boarding bridges are anchored through a reinforced concrete foundation for the already existing towers and have a continuous power supply system.
